Default Maiden Voyage

Took the Keaton out on the river for a shakedown cruise yesterday. It's a lot of fun for sure! We're lucky, only 7 miles from a boat ramp and some good boating water. Been a fan of hot rods my whole life, but in reality only from the age of 15 to 20 did I really have any hot rods. After that I was pretty dedicated to dirt bikes the next 20 years. This boat reminds me of a hot rod, big block v8 rumble and roar is bad ass

Here is my first weak ass attempt at splicing pictures, video's and music together.... Enjoy

Thanks Wes, I love the lines of the boat for sure, she's a beauty. Any of you boating guys know anything about fuel tanks. It has an old fiberglass tank that seemed to seep a bit from the sending unit and I read on the forums that the old fiberglass tanks are notorious for rotting out. Replace it? Line it with something? Any idea's, suggestions?

I would look into a new tank. Usually you can find something close if you have the dimensions through west marine or just look online. Just a thought. Boat is looking cool. Does kinda remind me too of a old hot rod. Enjoy the Keaton.

Found a couple places online
http://www.iboats.com/Below-Deck-Per...view_id.238166
http://boats.wholesalemarine.com/ind...t-fuel%20tanks

Ive bought stuff from both of them before and havnt had any problems. Prices are a lot better then west marine

Obviously the urban dictionary works better for us. Can you picture me on ice skates

The origin is from a famous partnership of Swiss comedy ice skaters,

Werner Groebli and Hans Mauch, whose stage names these were. They came to public fame in the later years of a series of skating spectaculars called Ice Follies, promoted by Eddie Shipstad and his brother Roy, which began in 1936 and ran for almost 50 years. Their association lasted so long, and they were at one time so well known, that their names have gone into the language.

Michael Mauch, the son of Hans, told me in a personal message about the origin of their names: "Frick took his name from a small village in Switzerland; Frack is a Swiss-German word for a frock coat, which my father used to wear in the early days of their skating act. They put the words together as a typical Swiss joke."

Urban Dictionary: Frick and Frack

Two people, usually employees of a company, who are deemed to be incompetent, lazy, or wasting time continuously by doing things other than working.

I found a Moeller replacement tank, but it's 47 long versus the 38 that's in there now. Might be able to squeeze it in though. been looking everywhere online for 38x11x12 or something real close with a center fill but no luck...
