Default Another one bites the dust....

SoCal MX track, that is...

LACR is no more, as the land owners apparently decided to not renew the lease to the track owners.

First the drags, now the legendary mx track have faded into the Palmdale sunset...

Lee, the current track manager of LACR, was the original owner of VMC, which was a legendary track in Victorville, CA. I was the EMT for the track for 3 years, and rarely heard a complaint about any aspect of the track. He took his skills to LACR once the land owner of VMC decided to sell the land out from under Lee.

RIP LACR, and hopefully Lee can take his skills somewhere else (close) in SoCal and again transform a decent track into something of legend status...

I've already experienced that many times over the years unfortunately

Just closed another one up here, place called Red Dog. Been riding there since I was a kid, but writing was on the wall when more and more cabins started getting built in the area.... Sucks, had a river to play in during the summer and the best single track around.
