Damn water leaks are driving me up the wall.
I did some reading on the old polybutyl grey tubing, and apparently it has surpassed it's effective usable lifespan.
(verified through RV repair manuals, RV.net thread, and past experience of members there)
The old tubing is hard, fittings are brittle, aluminum crimp bands are shot.
I've spent two days trying to patch it here and there, and have now determined it is a losing battle.

Screw it !
I ripped the entire plumbing out today, and in the morning I will be replumbing the complete system with Pex, brass crimp fittings, and copper crimp rings.
Should have just bit the bullet 2 days ago and not wasted my time.

I want to get this plumbing done, so I can move on to some of the more important stuff,... upgrading, and accessorizing.
I ordered some LED replacements for the 1156 interior bulbs, will also be replacing the exterior 194 bulbs in the clearance lights to LEDs, need to get a stereo with a SD card slot and a aux input jack, CO & gas sniffers, and a couple of other little things.

Although I DID install one of the most important upgrades already...

Haha, yeah, I think this makes my 4th Lance over the years. I've still got my big 11+ footer, but this little 8.5 footer will be nice for 2 person trips. Can't wait to get it out. Planning on bringing it to Prez weekend.

Been cleaning up my little $600 camper, and it's coming along nicely.

Got all the fresh water pipes replaced with new PEX, brass SharkBite fittings, and a little braided stainless...

Installed a couple of battery powered, motion sensor, LED lights.
This will be very cool when I'm stumbling (or crawling) through the dark desert, after a few rounds at the Hoolie-fire, and have the lights come on as I open the door...

been doing a few other little touch-ups too,
Gave it a scrubbing, and followed that with a good TR3 Resin Glaze. (much better than wax)
I'd say it's sparkling pretty well, and looking pretty good for a 24 year old camper...

Yea, it fits !
Oddly, this 8 1/2' camper, is a bit tighter fit than my big 11 1/2' footer.
Hoping my LED bulbs will arrive before we head out.
