New Trails From Nevada To California

I found some new trails today in the Toiyabe NF. I'm camped at the Topaz Lake RV resort in Nevada and tried to find trails over to Markleeville. Its a just a beautiful area and the trails are easy riding. I crossed paths with some local ATVers who live next to the resort. They said the Hwy patrol does not hassle them riding a short run on HWY 395 and they don't wear helmets here.

After I left Glass Creek I landed at this RV casino/resort with full hook-ups at $20/nite. It overlooks Topaz Lake and the restaurant food is excellent. The best deal is all you can eat spaghetti dinner for $3.95 I love the free drink tickets I get too!

I'll be staying here at the resort until Nick and Marianne arrive later this week. Then on to Moonrocks……… :howiejeep:

We usually stay at Topaz at least once a year. The riding over there is great. The North Eastern Sierra is just beautiful.

From Smith Valley up 338 to Mt. Patterson is my absolute favorite ride. We'll be there the first week in August.
