Got ourselves a good lot of rain yesterday. Had water dripping down from the atenna (sp) crank. The TV reception thingy was in the up position.

Normal or resealing in order?

Scrape, clean, prep and reseal, in that order. Do NOT pass go, do not collect $200.00!

There is a small boot that covers the cable through the roof( crank assembly antenna/ roofside ). Ours slipped up and we had a small drip too. I put a dab of silicone on it and stuck it back on. Problem solved.

It's this friggin booty thing that slips upward from its sealed postion that allows water to travel down the cable through the roof. This booty caused the leak on our antenna assembly.

have you been on the roof yet to look at it? that would be the first step.

Yup, looked up there. Seals look good, solid and all. Will check the booty thing-a-ma-bob.
